What to include in a pitch

1. A working title and a short explanation of the reader’s problem.
2. A brief outline, including the example, method or evidence you will contribute.
3. Your name or proposed byline and relevant background. Do not claim qualifications or experience you do not have.
4. Links to any sources you expect to use and, if available, a sample of your writing.
5. Any commercial connection, affiliate relationship or use of AI in preparing the proposed article.

A concise outline is enough to start. Do not send another person’s private letter or personal information without appropriate permission.

Standards for submitted work

Submit work you have the right to publish. Clearly identify fictional examples, quotations, adaptations and your own experience. Provide sources for factual claims. Do not describe a product as tested unless you can explain what you actually tested and how.

Make the piece as long as its useful explanation requires. Avoid padding, keyword repetition and lists whose examples differ only in the recipient’s name. AI-assisted work still needs careful factual checking and revision; disclosure does not make inaccurate or copied content acceptable.

Writing suggestions must not promise forgiveness, recovery, a particular emotional response or a repaired relationship. Do not encourage readers to bypass another person’s boundaries. Clinical claims require appropriate expertise and evidence; this site is not a substitute for professional care.

Links and commercial relationships

A relevant source link can help the reader check an explanation. A paid placement must not be disguised as an independent recommendation. Sponsored or affiliate relationships must be disclosed, and commercial links must use appropriate sponsored or nofollow attributes.
